I want my snowflake cut out of two different colors of paper. The easiest way to differentiate that in CDS is to change the color of two of the snowflakes. Anyway, cozy up in front of the fire and create some gorgeous beaded ornaments for your tree. Or you can use them as gift toppers or even to give them as gifts. For this project, in particular, I recommend heavy-weight cardstock, which is harder to cut but is more sturdy for decorating.

Leave enough tissue paper on each end to gather and lightly twist it, tying it with colored string. After threading the crystal bead, draw the wire out of any adjacent large bead of an arm (left or right, as you prefer). Hang your finished ornaments from loops of bakers twine or yarn. Stamp the plaid onto felt shapes with a homemade striped stamp applied in opposite directions. Make the stamp by gluing strips of crafts foam to a woodblock. Cut out the ornament shapes freehand or use our templates.
