While painting, Nick is learning how to express himself creatively and how to convey his ideas and emotions. Salisbury Child Care Centre is one of seven centres that make up the Bayswater Child Care Association Inc. Our service is a Community Based, not for profit organisation, situated in the Bedford area since 1989. E encourage all families to visit our service and participate in orientation. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have dedicated over 30 years to the early learning profession— 30 of those years right here at this centre. The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs. I am a mum to 2 beautiful girls; I have been working with children for 26 years first as a nanny then within the childcare sector.
I believe in building strong, supportive relationships with families by approaching each one with respect and empathy, valuing their unique perspectives and cultural backgrounds. We maintain open, honest, and regular communication, and we encourage families to be actively involved in their child’s learning journey. We are very lucky to have a qualified chef with many years of experience at our service cooking nutritious, healthy and delicious meals for the children. Our chef is at the centre five days a week, involved in the program and often cooks with the children. Our meals cater to all dietary requirements, and we have a four-week rotating menu that changes seasonally.

We are a large, stand-alone centre that caters for Before School, After School and Vacation Care during the required periods. It is well suited to school aged children with a purpose built playground and large outdoor area offering shelter and shade from the sun. Our centre, it’s educators and the outside community is proud of the inclusive curriculum provided to support families and children with additional needs.
