Actually, he loved them so much that he dedicated his poems to his favorite trees I’ve heard. The large plum tree inside the shrine supposedly flew from Kyoto to Dazaifu when he died. I might reserve the right for a bit of skepticism here, but it’s a very nice story.
The courses offered here lead to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. You may want to consider going to Japan to pursue a degree in animation. Firstly, this is where it originated, therefore, they are much better at it and have the right tools and people to teach you effectively. Also, the universities in Japan are much cheaper for international students than in the rest of the world.

The route itself starts from Kamado Shrine (Kamado-jinja/竈門神社) at the foot of the mountain and ends with a breathtaking view of Dazaifu at the mountain’s summit . Kanzeonji (観世音寺) – Former centre of Buddhism in Kyushu, this temple was founded by Emperor Tenji (天智天皇) during the 7th century in honour of his late mother, the Empress Saimei (斉明天皇). It was one of the only three temples that contain an ordination hall during its time; and also the major temple of Dazaifu.
Dazaifu is a metonym of the official position at the head of the regional government. It is also a metonym for the person who fills this leadership role. Sometimes there was an official Absentee Governor (Dazai-no-sotsu). Among those holding this office was Takaharu-shinnō who would later become Emperor Go-Daigo. The Dazaifu was established in northwest Kyushu the late 7th century. The town of Dazaifu grew up around the civil and military headquarters of the regional government.
