At Goodstart Pakenham, I am committed to leading a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and kindness. Together, we strive to create a centre where children are excited to learn, families feel supported and welcome, and educators are empowered to grow and thrive in their practice. I’m excited to build lasting partnerships with our families and community and to help give every child the best possible start in life. As part of the Story House Early Learning STRONG Beginnings curriculum, we believe learning continues beyond the classroom.
Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with sandpits, rock pool, dry creek bed, veggie patches, worm farm, cubbies and lots of shade. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam. We ensure families start their day right with fresh treats and a coffee station in our foyer. Each room receives fresh fruit daily, and seasonal fruit is always available in the front foyer for children to take on their way out, keeping hungry bellies satisfied before dinner.
You are there for every child in your care, experiencing and celebrating all the big milestones you help them reach. Our program is based on the development of logic and intellectual skills along with emotional intelligence. I began my journey in early learning in 2012 and joined the team at Community Kids Pakenham in 2024.
